October is hunt month in Southern Utah for rifle hunts for many big game animals including deer and elk. October is also a great time to hunt for deals in the Southern Utah real estate markets. Brian Head Ski Resort in the Southern Utah mountains is a nice little ski resort with short lines, a nice snowboard park, and affordable rates.
