Its mid June and the mountains are at one of their best times of the year. The aspen trees are fully out, the grass is green and there are wildflowers everywhere. In the deserts of Las Vegas and Southern California the mercury is in the triple digits but on the mountain it is in the 60s and 70s in the daytime for highs. Brian Head Ski Resort is putting in a high speed quad and a fishing pond. The resort is open for summer mountain biking and all over the mountain the villages are gearing up for the busy summer season. Panguitch Lake has already given some anglers trophy catches to put on their walls, and Duck Creek Village has a few new businesses and the trail systems are open. Real Estate in Duck Creek has been picking up over the last month and there is still a good selection of cabins. It won’t last long however. There are some good cabins at Panguitch Lake for sale, and Brian Head condo inventory is going down and prices have gone up. Don’t wait until the best deals are gone.
